If You Would Like to Hear This Record

Because of various problems with public blogs and rights problems, I have decided to take my blog and convert it to a private email. If you’d like to listen to this album (and more) or any other album I am posting here, just send me your email address at radiovickers1@gmail.com and I will put you on my list. Along with this album, I have a gigantic archive of my vinyl digitizations that gets added to every week. I do them myself and de-click them. Most sound pretty darned good, if I do say so myself.
This is not some come on. Just caution on my part. It costs nothing and there’s nothing to join. Just an email address. I have about a hundred people on my list at the moment. Come and join the musical fun.

This album was a little clicky but most of that was cured by my de-clicking program.  There isn't much distortion here so it turned out pretty good.  There are some lively performances here.  I like it.

This album was a little clicky.  I had two copies so I digitized them both.  There should be a good copy of all of the songs out of the two.  All of Ken's albums are enjoyable and this one is no exception.

5. I Don't Want To Be Alone
6. Whistle These Old Blues

11. Blackbird
12. Dream No. 2

The vinyl here is is quite good shape.  Not flawless, but the sound is pretty well distortion free.  I was pleasantly surprised by this band.  I thought it was going to be Southern Boogie by the cover.  Not so.

Info Stolen from This Great Blog

Year: 1971
Format: LP
Label: Kapp
This album has conspicuously little cache for a record as good as it is. Known primarily only among collectors, it has been a delightful little secret that really deserves to be spread around. I call it progressive flavored A.O.R., with a mix of soft and hard material, good guitar, organ, and great vocal harmony. To me, fully 8 of the 10 tracks presented rate pretty good or better, with “Breath Deep” my personal fave. Grab this one while reasonably priced copies aren’t too hard to find. (tymeshifter RYM)
